Paris DISNEYLAND.

For Maisy's and my birthdays, our grandma's both gave us some money. Because we had only spent some of it on small nicknacks, mum and dad discussed with us that we should spend it on something BIG, like going to Paris Disneyland. Maisy and I thought that it was a brilliant idea. We planned a day and got up very early to make the most of it.  So we caught the train and 'voila', we were at Disneyland. As soon as we got off the train we could see the Disneyland castle. It was HUGE and pink, and very spectacular. There were millions of thoughts going through my head, like 'What's in that castle?  How could someone have this much money to build something like this?   Who could have thought of this?  How come I have never been here before?  What rides will I go on? Where to start?
I just couldn't wait.

We went to Adventure land first and our first ride was on the Pirates of the Caribbean boat ride where you go to explore Tortuga, there were lots of pirates drinking grog & broken barrels. It was a fun and enjoyable ride that wasn't scary at all, just exciting. It is great for anyone who loves to watch the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Other rides we went on include:
Scary;
  •  Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was a very, very fast ride that went upside-down through ancient underground mines. Only dad and I did it, Maisy wasn't tall enough. She missed out by 4 cm.
  • Thunder Mountain, this was Maisy's 2nd ever rollercoaster ride. Maisy says; 'It was very fast, scary & loud.' But I loved it.
  • Space Mountain Mission 2  This was supposed to feel like you were on a mission to the moon, and it did. Dad and I went zooming up at rocket speed into what felt like space. This was another ride where we went upside-down.
Medium;
  • Phantom Manner, was supposed to be a  haunted house, but our schools bike shed was scarier.
  • Autopia, Maisy and mum went on this ride whilst dad and I went on Mission 2. This was a ride where you got to drive a miniature car and Maisy said she went 'out of control'.
Fun & Enjoyable
  • Mad Hatters Tea Cups, were fast and fun tea cups that our whole family could sit in. Dad made it spin extra fast, and mum thought she was going to be sick.
  • Buzz Lightyear Lazer Blast, was another easy ride where you sat in pairs and you would slowly move along and would try and shoot all the aliens. Dad won for sure, shooting more that 1000 aliens, but mum was pretty close. 'To infinity and beyoooooond!!'
  • Alice's Curious Laybrinth, was a maze through a massive garden to get to the Red Queens garden. We got lost a couple of times, but in the end we found it.
  • Videoplis, was a MASSIVE screen which would show heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaps of small Disney videos. It was very relaxing to finally sit down.
  • It's a Small World, was something that everyone has to do when they go to Disney Land. It is Disney Lands famous ride. It was very cute to see all the different dolls from all around the world sing the same song. But on the other hand the song got stuck in my head and it was really annoying.

We stayed to watch the parade and then because there was a huge crowd to leave we decided to go on the Disneyland Railway track around the park. It was just what we needed because by this stage everyone was exhausted.

We had an EXCELLENT day at Disney Land and thought it was worth paying every one of the 51euro for the ticket. I will definitely go again if I can save up my money. Thanks Grandma Pat and Grandma Linda.
